<\/a>Quin looking for chipmunks.<\/p><\/div>\n
Earlier this week, we were sitting down at the table enjoying some lunch.\u00a0 Quin decided that his peanut butter and jelly sandwich was really only worth licking the jelly off the bread.\u00a0 He had a bowl of grapes on his tray, but asked if he could have some soup which I was eating.\u00a0 So I got him a bowl and put some potato soup in there for him.\u00a0 He was excited about the soup, but since he then had a total of two bowls on his tray, of course, he couldn’t resist dumping the grapes into the soup.\u00a0 As bizarre and distasteful as it may sound, he ate every last grape along with his potato soup out of the same bowl.\u00a0 Grape soup sounds like a new culinary treat, doesn’t it?<\/p>\n
Last but not least, Quin has finally discovered that he can reach the door knobs on most of the doors on our main floor of the house.\u00a0 I make this statement to warn any future visitors to please lock the bathroom door.\u00a0 Imagine Rick’s surprise when one morning this week, Quin decided he needed to play with some toys in the bathroom during his shower.\u00a0 I’ve also been caught by this one a few times when I’ve needed to use the bathroom.\u00a0 I have about 20 seconds before Quin comes to the door, calls for mommy and then just lets himself in.\u00a0 I suppose privacy is another thing of the past…There are plenty of things you just don’t imagine until you have a child.\u00a0 Regardless of the lack of privacy, the culinary mysteries, and the odd vocabulary, I don’t think I’d trade any of it.\u00a0 I love you Quin.\u00a0 Thanks for keeping me on my toes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
